We met on August 22nd, 2020 — which, for those of you who lived through it, was perhaps the strangest possible time to fall for someone new.
Ev and our mutual friend Holly gathered four of us for a day of paddling on the Fox River: Kayaks, a little sunshine, and no particular agenda.
Rachel knew by the end of it that she wanted to see Evy again. Holly made Evy aware of this because that's what good friends do.
Our first date was Halloween 2020. We have been together every day since.
